Special Projects
Design for permanent and temporary works, involving structural Analysis and design for different types of structures in residential mid & high rise towers, infrastructural projects etc.
1) Temporary/ Enabling Works
Design and detailing of site offices, signage’s, Open sheds, Stores and go downs, excavation retention systems, strutting, under pinning, back propping for vehicular movement on slabs, temporary brides and walkways for pedestrian movement and vehicular movement, temporary closures for openings.
Hoardings, Site barricading and fencing, entry/exit gates, loading/unloading platforms, erection/dismantling schemes, schemes for load distribution of out riggers for mobile cranes, Tower crane foundations, TC on piles, TC ties , TC ties with guy ropes, Man & Material hoist foundations, MMH ties & tie extensions, Cantilever working platforms, Safety barricading at edges of structure, Safety enclosures for full height ( box netting/ wrap-up the building), Batching plant foundations including silos, conveyer, inline binds and the like. Design of retaining walls, counterfort walls, Supports for rope suspended Platforms ( RSP).
Aerial working platforms ( AWP), Foundation and ties for Mast climbers, TC dismantling methods with manual and proprietary derricks, Perimeter platforms for Working at heights, debris chute supporting designs, concrete pipe line supports etc., Pile load test arrangements, lifter/spreader beams, Supporting schemes with Trestles, Heavy duty shoring.
2) Formwork, False work & Sacffolding
ARCS provide services on design , detailing and quantification of Formwork, staging and scaffolding as per the site specific needs, based on available materials and propose alternative cost effective solutions.
Types of formwork include Conventional, Monolithic, Table form, Tunnel form, Flying form, Column mounted forms, Climbing formwork for vertical elements crane handled. Design services for infra projects include forms for pile cap, pier, pier cap, U girder, I Girder, Long line, short line, Hammer head, Form travellers, Precast moulds. Solutions in scaffolding for silos, chimneys, buildings, access towers, hanging scaffold, mobile scaffold, Cantilever scaffolds. Monolithic aluminium formwork design and detailing services for shell drawings, modulation/form drawings, design for refurbishment and shop drawings.
3) Edge Protection Safety Screen ( EPS)
ARCS provide design and detailing of EPS for Mechanical hanging type Crane handled, Guided Wind screen with crane handled and Protection screens by Hydraulic jumping.
We have experience and expertise in dealing with non typical layouts at different levels which include but not limited to Different floor heights , changing balcony locations at alternate levels, Beams at alternate floors ( double height), Varying cantilevers at balconies and chajja locations in plan & elevation for floor height ranging from 2.8m to 4.8m and screen heights up to 15m. Shaft platforms covering all opening either in clip clap system or guided. Having expertise in dealing with Tower cranes, designs are optimized for minimum number of operations in each cycle and value for money.
These solution will be implemented by our associates till final installation and jumping. Will train the contractors team and hand over for safe operation of EPS. Also provide redesign services for existing screens and refurbishment designs for existing clients.
4) Special Projects
ARCS had provided services for Seismic analysis of Storage racks, Acoustic enclosures as per vendor specific details. Design of Supporting structures for erection/fixing of solar power panels including inspection and issuing stability certificate.
We undertake product design services for specific need and patent rights passed on to clients. ARCS with strong fundamentals in design , planning and close interaction with execution team, provide feasibility study for site specific requirements based on logistics, selection of right equipment for the project and their location/positioning, Selection of right systems/ formwork to meet the project specific needs and provide technical/ hand holding services inline with the construction schedule.
Design of Ware houses/factory shed, Shop drawings for Structural steel, BBS services, preparation of as- built drawings by site inspection, inspection and certification of Enabling works are few of the areas of expertise and the list will go on as per the specific need/requirement for project.
